Gas City I-69 Speedway Issues Penalty

GAS CITY, Ind., July 12 — In response to an on-track incident this past Friday night (July 9) in the hornet division feature, Gas City I-69 Speedway officials announced today that driver James Headley has been suspended from driving in any division for the next four weekly racing programs.

In addition, Headley has been placed on probation through the end of the 2021 racing season and docked 100 driver points in the hornet division.

Headley was immediately disqualified Friday night, forfeiting any points and prize money earned for his action during a red flag.
